I want to replace my Bypass doors with Bi-fold doors. What do I need to do?

To determine which size doors to order, measure the width and height of the closet door opening. Because bi-fold doors have different hardware than Bypass Doors, the height of the doors will depend on the height of your opening and also another factor is that different heights are required for different series of hardware. Also, you can use the same jambs for your bifold doors that you used for bypass doors, since Bypass Doors are Top Mounted.

I want to replace my closet doors, by pass doors with bifold doors. The sizes are 45 1/2 inches wide and 80 3/4 inches high- the second is 38 1/2 inches wide and 80 3/4 inches high. What would be the easiest way to do them?

I have a 8′-0″ wide closet opening (original we had by-pass doors) I would like to have 8 panels installed (4 sets of 2)– My concern is that in the middle of the opening what type of bracket will be required at floor
